All students in 10th and 11th grade will sit for the PSAT Exam on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024. All other students will remain home, working asynchronously for the day. The PSAT Exam acts as an alternative pathway to PA’s mandatory Act 158 graduation requirement, and provides students with the opportunity to achieve the National Merit Scholarships.
Please note, standardized testing accommodations written into an IEP do not apply to the PSAT assessment. Families of students with IEPs must complete the hyperlinked Student Eligibility Form and submit IEP documentation directly to the PSAT’s Services for Students with Disabilities Office no later than Monday, August 26th. All accommodations that you are applying for should align with your child’s IEP. You can review the hyperlinked PSAT website for assistance filling out the form. You can also call or email Heather Brahan at 267-599-2126, or [email protected] for additional support.
Additional information about the PSAT exam logistics is forthcoming.
